Celebrating 25 Years- Interview with Mr. Peter SIAW

Mr. Peter SIAW lives up to the above saying. He holds an MBA from the University of Hull, England and is a Fellow member of the UK Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

“I joined the MITCO family as an accountant in 2001, where I was given the opportunity to apply the wide range of experience that I gathered in my career as an auditor in professional firms in England and Mauritius, mostly with Coopers and Lybrand, now PwC.

Being a part of MITCO, as a Client Accounting Manager, I can proudly say that I didn’t even realise how seventeen years of my career have passed by. There have been many ups and downs, but it’s only the challenges that made me a better professional.

Ever since I have joined, I have seen MITCO only growing. We were a team of only 10 employees. Now we have reached a team of more than 80 people and the way we are growing, this number may increase in the near future. I am sure that MITCO has the potential to become bigger and better as we are committed to strive for excellence as a service-provider in this fast-changing Global environment, in a cost-effective manner.

Along with professional development, MITCO has helped me to realise many of my dreams, especially the dream of sending my children abroad for their higher studies. I am thankful for that.

Sports form an integral part of my daily routine and football has been my favourite. I encourage people to practice a physical exercise on a daily basis. It is said that the mind and the body are one. I believe that a healthy mind and a healthy body are one. This will surely contribute to a healthy MITCO.”
