New MoUs to be entered by the EDB

The Economic Development Board (EDB), the investment promotion agency of Mauritius, is all set to sign new Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with various governmental agencies in Africa namely:

(i) Le Centre de Promotion des Investissements de la République de Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast)
(ii) Le Ministère de la Promotion de l’Investissement de la République Togolaise (Togo)
(iii) the Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa

 

 

The main objectives will be to:

• implement a practical framework for cooperation with regard to Trade and Investment opportunities;
• design a common strategy to strengthen economic relations;
• strengthen institutional relations and capacity building through cooperation; and
• ensure a coherent approach to identify areas of comparative advantage, competence to strengthen investment, trade promotion and facilitation.
