MITCO at the Africa CEO Forum 2023

Organised by Jeune Afrique and co-hosted by the IFC, the Africa CEO Forum is the largest private sector event held in the continent.  This year’s event was held on 5-6 June in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire and witnessed the participation of more than 2,000 business leaders, investors, and policy makers from Africa and around the world.  Discussions revolved around the emergence of the next generation of African champions especially against a backdrop of tumultuous events and geopolitical tensions across the globe. This event encouraged public-private dialogue to address key issues and shape the continent’s autonomy as well as facilitated conversation between business leaders regarding access to finance and procurement solutions.

 

This year’s edition was attended by our Chief Executive Officer, Mahen Govinda and our Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer, Nathalie Daynes who discussed the advantages of the Mauritius International Financial Centre (MIFC) as an investment structuring platform for Africa with the other participants at the event.
