The Government of Mauritius has agreed to the ratification of the First Protocol amending the Mauritius-Turkey Free Trade Agreement.  This First Protocol was signed by both countries in June 2023 and has the objective of incorporating enhanced market access which Mauritius had negotiated with Turkey with regards to Mauritian exports.

It will be recalled that the Mauritius-Turkey Free Trade Agreement was signed on 9 September 2011 and entered into force on 1st June 2013.
